UiTM's researchers once again proved their mettle when one platinum medal, eight gold and two silvers were won at the British Invention Show 2007, London. All the exhibits won an award. The most outstanding winner was Prof Dr Ku Halim Ku Hamid who won a total of 2 golds, a plantinum award and a special award from the Taiwan Inventors Association. The exhibition was held from 15th October 2007 until 22nd October 2007 at Alexandra Palace, London. This is the second time that UiTM has participated in this exhibition which is known as Britain's largest expo to showcase the latest inventions, innovations and new technology worldwide. There were 250 inventors from 17 countries who took part in this exhibition, an ideal platform to promote our R&D products at international level. UiTM through IRDC sent 10 researchers including three students to compete in the exhibition. It is hoped that this success will be a catalyst to other researchers especially students to invent and innovate more products. Congratulations to all the winners!
